Propecia

PROPECIA is the first and only FDA-approved pill demonstrated to treat male pattern hair loss on the vertex (top of head) and anterior mid-scalp area (middle front of head) in men only. There is not sufficient evidence that PROPECIA works for receding hairlines at the temples. The effectiveness of PROPECIA was demonstrated in studies of men, aged 18 to 41, with mild to moderate hair loss at the top and middle front of the head.

Rogaine

Rogaine is a topical lotion available in a regular and extra strength version which stimulates hair growth in both men and women. Rogaine's active ingredient is a FDA approved drug named, Minoxidil. Rogaine/Minoxidil has many side effects and may be harmful to your health. It is designed to be used for the duration of the user's life span. Discontinuing use of any Minoxidil based product is not recommended.

This is a handheld device that can be used for home and travel use.
